Common questions
Does insurance cover hail damage?
It depends on your policy. Comprehensive coverage commonly includes hail, but the only way to know what applies to you is to check your own policy or ask your carrier. What we can do is document the damage clearly with a 3D scan and a written estimate, and help you work through the repair and claim process from there. We cannot approve or guarantee a claim.
What is paintless dent repair?
Paintless dent repair, or PDR, works the metal back toward its original shape from behind the panel rather than filling and repainting it. For hail damage it is often the cleanest option because the factory finish is left alone.
Will PDR preserve my factory paint?
That is the goal, and it is the main reason PDR is used on hail. The paint surface is not sanded, filled or resprayed. Whether a given panel is a good candidate depends on how deep the dents are, where they sit and what condition the paint is already in — we will tell you honestly if a panel needs a different approach.
What is the 3D / ARGUS hail scan?
The vehicle passes under a scanning arch that captures the surface of each panel and produces a dent map and count. It is more consistent than a quick walkaround under a shop light, and it gives everyone — you, us and your carrier — the same documented starting point.
