Our story
Trained in 2011, planted here since
Our owner trained in paintless dent repair in California in the summer of 2011. The early years were dealership route work — moving between lots, fixing dings, learning the trade one panel at a time — before the work shifted further into retail hail repair.
Hail repair traditionally means travelling. Storms happen somewhere else, and technicians follow them. That works until you want a family and a home address that means something. The Dent Barn was built so the work could stay high-level without the constant chase: put down roots in Kansas, serve the Kansas City metro on both sides of the line, and let the storms come to us.
The name came from a building. An early shop had broken, expensive-to-replace windows that had to be boarded up. Rather than leave it looking derelict, the boards were styled like barn doors so the place looked intentional. Customers started calling it the dent barn. The name stuck, and so did the look.
3D Hail Scanning
An ARGUS 3D scan documents every panel before a repair plan is written, so the damage count is measured rather than eyeballed.
Post-Repair Verification
We scan the vehicle again after the work so you can see, panel by panel, what changed.
ADAS Calibration
When a repair affects cameras or sensors, we handle the required calibration before the vehicle goes back on the road.
Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
Our workmanship is warrantied for as long as you own the vehicle.
Insurance Claim Support
We document the damage clearly and help you work through the claim and repair process.
How we work
The standard we hold
We do not start a repair we cannot document. Every vehicle is scanned first, so the estimate reflects a measured dent count rather than a walkaround guess.
We do not hand back a vehicle we have not verified. The post-repair scan shows, panel by panel, what changed. If the repair affects cameras or sensors, the required ADAS calibration happens before the vehicle leaves.
We will also tell you when paintless repair is not the right answer for a panel. A straight answer is worth more than a sale.
And we do not disappear when the job is finished — the craftsmanship is warrantied for as long as you own the vehicle.
