Does insurance cover hail damage?

It depends on your policy. Comprehensive coverage commonly includes hail, but the only way to know what applies to you is to check your own policy or ask your carrier. What we can do is document the damage clearly with a 3D scan and a written estimate, and help you work through the repair and claim process from there. We cannot approve or guarantee a claim.

What is paintless dent repair?

Paintless dent repair, or PDR, works the metal back toward its original shape from behind the panel rather than filling and repainting it. For hail damage it is often the cleanest option because the factory finish is left alone.

Will PDR preserve my factory paint?

Accepted Answer

That is the goal, and it is the main reason PDR is used on hail. The paint surface is not sanded, filled or resprayed. Whether a given panel is a good candidate depends on how deep the dents are, where they sit and what condition the paint is already in — we will tell you honestly if a panel needs a different approach.

What is the 3D / ARGUS hail scan?

The vehicle passes under a scanning arch that captures the surface of each panel and produces a dent map and count. It is more consistent than a quick walkaround under a shop light, and it gives everyone — you, us and your carrier — the same documented starting point.

Why scan the vehicle again after the repair?

Accepted Answer

So the finished work can be shown rather than just described. The post-repair scan is compared with the original, panel by panel, which is useful for you and for the claim file.

What is ADAS calibration and when is it needed?

Many newer vehicles carry cameras and sensors that support lane keeping, adaptive cruise and automatic braking. When repair work affects a panel or mounting point tied to those systems, the manufacturer may require recalibration. We check for it and handle it when it is required.

How long does hail repair take?

It depends on the dent count, the panels affected and how the claim moves. We would rather give you a realistic timeline once the scan is done than quote a number before we have seen the vehicle.

Loaner availability varies. Ask about loaner vehicle availability when you schedule and we will tell you what we have at the time.

What does the lifetime craftsmanship warranty cover?

Accepted Answer

Our workmanship. For as long as you own the vehicle, if a dent we repaired comes back, bring it in and we will address it. It does not cover new damage from a later storm or work performed elsewhere.

Yes. We run unit-by-unit dealer lot audits and staged fleet repair programs, including large groups of vehicles that need to be assessed and prioritised quickly.

Our shop is in Leavenworth, Kansas, and we serve the Kansas City metro on both the Kansas and Missouri sides, including North Kansas City and Riverside. Mobile hail estimates are available in some situations.
